I was reading a book last night on the importance of seasons, of that winter lull, and how with global warming, that period may get shorter and shorter for many parts of the globe. The author lives in Vermont and is noticing and recording the changes. People are canoeing at times of year when they would have been ice skating. They are buying their Christmas trees in shirt sleeves.
I am with how each day, even if the sun is shining, requires seasons, a pause for meditation and reflection, an honoring of life and death.
This is a fascinating way to look at statistics. Enjoy!
