This is the time of year when the more deeply I go within, the more deeply I need to enter nature and share what pours forth. Yesterday, I went out to Pierce Point, a piece of land that separates the ocean and Tomales Bay so as you walk out on the strip you see ocean and bay at the same time. The elk are quiet right now and feeding. The rutting season is over. All is at peace and it was clear, windy, and cold. I love being there, seeing the sun so far south, and the shadows so dark and defined.
This morning I rose at five to go out and walk with the stars. I feel so invigorated this time of year, both awake and aware.
I received this from my friend Elaine who is in Germany for Christmas.
"Here in Germany, Xmas Eve is when the families gather and open gifts, then there are two full holidays, the 25th and 26th, when all stores are closed and people spend time together. It makes such a difference to have the stores all closed. Things slow down. People, not things, become the focus."
"People, not things, become the focus." It seems the way to enjoy the season, the gatherings that ensue this time of year.
The essential feature of quantum interconnectedness is that the whole universe is enfolded in everything, and that each thing is enfolded in the whole.
Gracious Blessings to All!!
