Last night was clear and I was determined to see meteors, to revel with shooting stars. Standing on the deck, it felt like one almost hit me. Wow! What a rush. Then, we put pillows and blankets on the deck and lay down and watched. What a thrill it is to be with the night sky and steadiness tingled with flashes of light. Of course, it also requires a letting go. They don't come on demand. Focus has to open and receive whatever comes, and the stars and sprays of light are more than enough. I'm carried on them today.
