Why is he so afraid of us?

We, in the Bay area, are very nice people.   We enjoy a fine glass of wine, or perhaps, a micro-brewery beer.  We step lightly on the earth, and prefer our fruits and vegetables to be organic., our meat to be killed while a hand is there to massage.   Would we gentle souls harm our president, and yet, he is afraid of us.   Once again, he flies into SFO which is actually south of SF, and continues south to Hillsborough, land of the very wealthy and a Republican contingent.     He has not actually put foot or feet in SF during his presidency and perhaps not before.  After all, he hadn't gone to Europe before he became president.  I'm sure we, too, equate as foreign soil, though I have to believe he enjoys a freedom fry or two, forgetting they are French, and does one think a Napa or Sonoma wine has never touched his lips.

Of course, there's nothing like a central coast chardonnay, but, then, he doesn't drink, does he, or swear - oh, not at all.

Okay, I admit it.  I had a wonderful glass of red from one of my favorite places, Locals in the very strange Geyserville.   I recommend Ramazzotti, Ricordo, red wine from the Dry Creek Valley, 2004.   Dry creeks are not happening right now.  I enjoyed watching the waterfalls cruise down Mount Tam today.

I just find it strange that SF is not worthy of a visit by our, okay, we don't respect, our president, and we are counting the days til he is gone.

I have already been invited to a major party on January 20, 2009 to celebrate his return to Crawford, Texas.

Can you imagine the noise we will make?   That will be a happy day!!
