I have long felt the tax on gas should be higher, not lower. That way the taxes could be used to improve the roads which might improve gas mileage and the need for car alignments. Some of the potholes around here are appalling.
McCain proposes a summer gas tax holiday, something which would boost oil industry profits, as people continue driving and ignoring the problem. Is is another band aid, like the stimulus, that will never stick.
I find myself this morning without a need for, or access to, words. The sun is shining and the sky is a blank slate, like my mind.
