Today is so beautiful that my heart is like the meadow pictured. I am alive with flowers, fertile lanterns of joy. There is so much going on in nature that it is staggering. The lupine and poppies are prolific at Tennessee Valley and today I am going to Stinson Beach to visit a friend who has 72 rose bushes and they are in their first bloom of the season. She gave me two roses the other day, Duet and Pristine. Our windows were open last night for the heat wave, which so far is just a lovely warm blanket wave, and so we went to sleep to crickets and woke to the songs of birds. I am delight. Each day I become more aware of the beauty of life here and the connections that continue as we change form. I see more and more that we do not die, only crack an egg and experience even more ways to view and fly.
