Jon Krakauer points out in his book Under the Banner of Heaven, that these fundamentalist Mormon groups who practice polygamy not only rape and enslave children, but they also collect $8.00 for every $1.00 in taxes they pay, because only the first wife is proclaimed legal, so the other wives go on welfare as single mothers with multiple children. In addition the tax paper supports the roads, schools, and even one time an airport for these self-enclosed prisons. Women are meant to breed children. That's it! It is scary and our tax dollars help fund what is illegal but hides under the guise of spirituality and free speech.
