Outsider Art -

I have been reading A Three Dog Life by Abigail Thomas. Her husband is hit by a car and is brain-damaged, and yet, at times, he knows what she is thinking, what is going on. It is fascinating. She writes about Outsider Art, which her husband and others are involved in, art "unpolluted by society's expectations or a culture's constrictions. This was art that came straight from the psyche without a filter."
