It is a beautiful day. There is sunshine here!
I am with the feeling of motion this morning and stillness, and how to find my balance within that, my pacing. It is probably not an easy subject and yet it seems key to me.
I am also trying to balance my intake of political information so I don't go insane.
With that, I reach to Thomas Merton.
No writing on the solitary meditative dimensions of life can say anything that has not already been said better by the wind in the pine trees.
Thomas Merton. Honorable Reader. Robert E. Daggy, editor. New York: The Crossroad Publishing Company, 1991: 91
May we all find the balance we need today, the balance of stillness and movement, peace and stimulation, and the place where peace is stimulating. May I find, you find, we find, the nourishment we need.
