The moon and stars are amazing tonight. I actually cooked this afternoon, made a real meal with chopping and spices. When I opened the cupboard and looked in at the spices, I realized I have not been able to face that cupboard all this time. Our meals have been rather dismally creative, as I was unable to face chopping an onion or garlic, or spicing a dish, and so, it was quite a treat to do it tonight. My stomach has settled. The Taxol is not about nausea, and it has taken my body awhile to believe that, but it is getting it and cooking tonight was a real treat. I am grateful to be able to cook. Fatigue and achiness are the issues now, and I was disappointed to not have more energy for this beautiful day, and I had just enough.
I did begin reading a new book which I highly recommend. It is Thomas Friedman's "The World is Flat." Wow!! It is a must-read.
