I go out on the deck and there are two birds calling to each other from the trees on each side of the deck. I feel like I'm sitting between two speakers, deciphering a conversation about the beauty of the day.

The day vibrates with color, scent, and sound. It feels more like spring than November and, as much as we love it, we also need rain. Sympathy for the people with the fires down south. All here today seems green and serene.
