Humanity -

My father's plane was shot down during WWII and he was placed in a prisoner of war camp in Germany. There wasn't much food for anyone, but he was able to survive because of the Red Cross packages.

Humanitarian aid has been a given. The Red Cross has been sacrosanct.

I am trying not to jump to conclusions here, but I think Israel needs to be paying attention to what they are doing right now, very close attention. This seems inexcusable. This ship, bringing medical supplies and personnel could have sunk, and people, innocent people, might have died.

The world is watching very closely right now and I am not seeing anything that excuses an action such as this.

I realize this was not a Red Cross boat, but there was no reason to ram this boat, no reason at all.
