I think equality is when we don't have to favor one group over another. I have long felt that most schools are not adapted to a boy's way of learning. I think Kathleen Parker writes a good column today on why we want to offer encouragement to boys and fathers as well as girls and mothers, to males as well as females.

Once you see that your better idea is not better for anyone but you, you can begin to see other views, then all views, then what "views" really are.
