Vocabulary -

Today, Ben Schott writes an op-ed guest column in the NY Times introducing his blog, though instead of saying I, he says he, so unless there are two Ben Schott's, he is writing about himself in the third person which seems peculiar. I suppose it is a way to not appear as though he is bragging, but I would have preferred he said, "Read my great new blog." It is as though he has written his own obituary, though his blog sounds like one that will not die.
