It amazes me how something that will benefit so many Americans can be twisted around as to purpose and cost.
I admire our president for inviting Gates and Crowley to the White House for a beer. This is what he does well, puts people in the same room and invites conversation. I think this is huge, and I find it fascinating that it was these two men who got caught up in this momentous event. Again, we see Black people in a new light and we see how what is learned and taught in the classroom can come out differently in the night.
I read recently that bird song is needed to bring flowers to form. I listen to the birds this morning and wonder what blooms in me from the call of their notes.
