I rose in the dark this morning and walked out to be with the half moon and stars and walked down to the marsh and the bay where the sky turned varying shades of rose and pink and it took a long time for the sun to actually offer its soft, autumn, head of light.
Meanwhile the sky was stirred by an amazing variety of birds. It was the perfect light to see their wings, the shapes and the varied ways they stir the air.
I felt pink inside from all the excitement, winged.
It looks like a step has been taken in the complex and run for profit world of health care, and I think a nod and bow of appreciation to Nancy Pelosi and President Obama are in order today. These two people are working against incredible odds to bring something to the American people that will actually benefit them. Who could be against it, and yet, Little Red Riding Hood never had it so tough against the wolf.
I see that a new version of A Christmas Carol opened in the theater near me this weekend. It seems a little early, but maybe the theme will begin to dribble through the conscience of those who thrive on greed.
The sun offers light. We share the beams.
