I read this morning that people think that airport image scanning as they board an airplane may be an invasion of their privacy.

What is that about? We strip down to go through airport security as it is. Wouldn't it be easier to just have a scan and what is the issue around privacy in this case? Do we really think clothes allow us a measure of privacy, of secrecy? Certainly when one is in the hospital in a silly little gown there is no privacy and that is when we're not at our peak. We may think we are able to hide our appearance and possibly we can enhance, but true beauty shines through no matter what, and this method certainly sounds like it is taking care to not be a peep-show.
I used to love to fly. I don't enjoy the security lines of today, but if I'm going to have to endure it, I would think a quick scan would be the easy way to go.
I also read a comment today on a Paul Krugman column that the Liberals might support a cut in the minimum wage if the Conservatives would cut the maximum wage. I don't know if the CEO's will allow a cut in the maximum wage, and I certainly don't want to lower the minimum wage, but I think if the higher levels were taxed at the percentage they were taxed under Eisenhower, that would solve many of the nation's problems.
Here is to peace these last few days of this year, peace within as peace without seems to be a bit of a mess. I am shocked at what is going on with robotic warfare and still I have to say it over and over again, Peace, Peace, Peace!
