It is Memorial Day. I remember as a child going with my uncle to the cemetery. We placed flowers on family graves and he put American flags on the graves of the veterans. Paul Tillich wrote, "The first duty of love is to listen." May we listen to past and present as we move toward the future with the intention of connecting in peace.
