It seems wherever I stay these days has a quality of service form to fill out. I find myself thinking there should also be a "quality of guest" form, an evaluation of the guest.
Was the guest polite upon check-in?
Were they clean? Did they leave the room clean? Did they pick up after themselves and check out in a timely fashion?
If the guest gets a 5, the top score, pehaps they could get a discount next time or something subtracted from their bill.
Just a thought as I look around, wanting my room to look as inviting when I leave as when I first walked in.
