I'm flying down to Burbank this morning to share a few days with Jane in promotion of Breast Strokes. I've decided not to carry a computer so will be out of computer touch until Thursday evening. I'm ready to travel light.

Let's each take a wide, deep breath and acknowledge our own courage, strength, and wisdom. Remember back to what was required to enter this world. We are not wimps. Think of your side of labor. We speak of what it is for the mother, but consider that initial impulse to recognize readiness and squeeze on out.
How often do we acknowledge how amazing our birth? Birthday celebrations are often about our current age, rather than a remembering back to our astonishing reach for room and light.
