I enjoy balancing direction and a goal with appreciation of the spontaneous float that comes my way. I like to image myself as a jellyfish with the ocean providing all I need. It's not to say we don't need purpose and intention but I think sometimes there can be relief and release in saying "I don't know," and appreciating that each path may provide something to assimilate and learn.
From Alice in Wonderland:
Alice came to a fork in the road. "Which road do I take?" she asked.
"Where do you want to go?" responded the Cheshire cat.
"I don't know," Alice answered.
"Then," said the cat, "it doesn't matter."
