The Presidio

I love exploring and reading the history of the Presidio in SF.   Yesterday I walked with a friend through trees as our eyes and hearts expanded on views.  We checked out Andy Goldsworthy's Spire and "Wood Line" which I thought was a snake.  We read the history and enjoyed the views of Marin from the cemetery.  We could see to Muir Beach.   We met very few people and it was hard to believe as we walked and sat under trees that we were in the city.

There are respites to be found.
