We went to a birthday party last night of a friend and neighbor who is a musician and turned sixty. His musical friends gathered at the Sausalito Cruising Club which is on a barge connected to land by a little bridge, and so as the tide goes out begins to tilt and settle into the mud, and then, the water returns. The music was incredible, absolutely incredible. Everyone danced, and it was a mature crowd, and, we all were young. The night was warm and the bay calm.

Here is a wonderful article written by Seymour Carter. I think it will give you a sense of him and of Sensory Awareness. It seems he was prepared for transition, as we all might be if it is important to us to prepare.
