Unity!

I am thrilled obviously that so many women won in this election, and that sanity prevailed, and that being gay, or something other than white is not a hindrance to winning an election, and perhaps all of this analysis is necessary, young, old, etc, but I look forward to the day when the best candidate wins, and we don't see color, sex, religion, race, age, or orientation.  All of that will be irrelevant as we simply pick the best person for the job.

I look forward to the day when we won't need to celebrate the "firsts".  We won't see differences, won't even see them, but will unite to elect and celebrate those who represent unity, and building a nation as part of a world that honors work, compassion, connection, strength, and play.
