Breathe through -
I was responding to a friend on her "breakthrough", and I typed "breathe through".
Perhaps they are the same, but breathe through sounds softer to me, and spacious, whereas I realized the word breakthrough has rather a sharp edge to it.
I think of the chick pecking his or her way out of the egg, an image gently with us these lovely spring days. Yes, there is a breakthrough with the crack and emergence, and there is also a breathing through, a connecting containment with expanse.
