The Magic of the Internet

About thirty minutes ago, I received an urgent email from a friend, saying a friend of hers has a neighbor who is choosing new white carpet over her two kittens, and if the kittens don't have a new home today, they will be euthanized tonight.   The message circulated and a friend reminded me of the Milo Foundation that takes any animals so they aren't killed, but within thirty minutes, somebody responded, and the kittens have a home.

I've seen this before with the internet.  Word goes out quickly and two are matched, pet needing a home and human needing a pet.  I like it!
