Good Morning!!

Our Christmas was so delightful I am still floating in the joy of it. All was perfect, and our gathering all that anyone could want it to be. Also, Frieda and Chris are in love, and she fits into our family snug as can be, so I am floating in the joy of love and ease.

We watched the movie Parenthood recently, because it felt relevant as we watch our family expand. The ending is of happy parents and bouncing babies, and the joy of the world going round and round. I feel that today.

Happy day after Christmas, and may you still be in the float, swinging on the stars.

continuing to float -

I walked along the marsh, and saw an incredible array of marsh birds, and then, went to the grocery store.  A chicken is roasting in the oven, and we are all tucked in waiting for the rain.  I feel well, happy, grateful, and content.   I feel the following words to be so clearly, evenly so.

EACH IN ITS way, when true to its own character, is equally beautiful.

We each are unique -

"If we are to achieve a rich culture, rich in contrasting values, we must recognize the whole gamut of human potentialities, and so weave a less arbitrary social fabric, one in which each diverse human gift will find a fitting place."

evening -

We lost power this evening. I expected it, so had just set homemade chicken soup on the table, poured the wine, lit the candles and made a fire. Perfect timing! I suppose it would get old, but it is certainly delightful to have nothing to do but watch the flickering of the fire and candle light and listen to the wind. Of course, we were well fed as the timing was perfect, and now, power is back on and all is back to "normal" and so, here I am.
