Be Sense-itive!

My brother sends this suggestion of how to live.   Sense-itive!   I like it!!

Honor all of your senses today.   Who can resist this time of year when there is so much to stimulate nose, skin, eyes, ears, and taste-buds.  Honor each bud of taste today.  Open each bud to bloom.  Taste life and love. Live aware, involved.  Care!  Share!

Charlotte Selver, an explorer of Sensory Awareness, speaks to students who come to classes and then don't carry it into the world, and it is true of each of us.  Are we viewing life on earth as an oasis, or can we go into the movement of water through tree, us, air.   Live intensely involved in what you do, know, and share.

Remember always what we are doing here,
if it doesn't change your life
    it is worth nothing.
If you take this as a kind of oasis
to which you come and have a beautiful hour or two
in which you kind of begin to breathe and live,
and then you go into life and act just the same,
    don't take the trouble.

If it doesn't gradually change your life, it doesn't go deep enough.
