Good Morning!

I woke and rose early while it was still dark and sat and watched the light arrive.  What a treat that is and it comes so early this time of year.  In the winter it is easy to see the rise of light, and it was such a treat to do it today.  I sat with my beloved quilt wrapped around me and Bella on my lap.

I am gently entered into love and light today.  I am reading eat, pray, love by Elizabeth Gilbert and greatly enjoying it.  How difficult we sometimes make this life that can be so easy when we trust, love, accept, and let go.

I loved hearing the birds awake this morning.  The sounds come with first light and continue.  The quail are the active voices right now.

Enjoy this sacred day.  Savor and hug yourself with love.  What a gift it is to live.

Enjoyment -

I am enjoying this day and the openings in the trees.

I am contemplating new doors and how to see in new ways.

Did you know that the word "hobo" means homeward bound.   May you live on a continuing journey home.

I am transferring and backing up files today as it seems that though we continue to try to rescue this computer, it is on its way out.  In doing so, I realize this year is 1/2 over.  Tomorrow is the first of July.  How quickly time has passed, and now, we enter the thick trunk of the year, the deeper green of leaves.

It is a day to close off the first part of the year, and enter the second part as new.  It is a day for ritual.

Zen thought believes that an oak tree is brought into creation by two forces at the same time, the acorn, and the future tree, wanting to exist and pulling the acorn into action and evolution.  Today, feels like a transitional day, between acorn and tree.
