Good Morning!

I wake to the news there is snow at Tahoe and chains are required.  I loved hearing the rain last night, and now this morning all is wet and still dark, when summer would mean light.  I tuck in differently to my chair this morning, aware of the bear.  A friend informs me she came upon a mother bear and three cubs while hiking in New Mexico.  Imagine that.  The image fuels my day as I consider winter and the proper cave.

The light comes.  All is silence in this moment.   The storm is passed.

I think of all the people writing these days, all the ones with books, all the postings on blogs and I see this as a wonderful sharing, a new version of the coffee klatch.

May your day bring you writing and reading of other's and yourself.

I seem to have caught a cold, just like that.  It arrived last night with the rain, so my nose is dripping, throat is thick and head is heavy, and I notice the increased moisture in myself as I pause often to blow my nose, a little storm in itself.

We have a huge egg at the front entry.  It has held always held a plant, but yesterday I removed the plant, and placed a pillow inside and set a tiny purple treasure chest with teeny-tiny flying pigs painted outside onto the pillow.   When I open the treasure chest, I  receive inspiration and messages of love and trust.  May your day be as richly pleasured as mine.
