Thomas Edison:

"Everything comes to him who hustles while he waits."

We leave NY today, contentedly and enthusiastically.   There's no place like home.

Home -

Oh, we are so happy to be home, though it feels more like Miami Beach than SF.   The heat is supposed to break tomorrow.  I have now opened all the windows and checked out "kitties" and plants.

The plane was three hours late because of weather, and that postponement was dribbled out in 15 minute segments, so, by the time we actually got on the plane, it felt a wee bit exhausting.  I was reading my book on Stoicism, which was perfect as a way of acceptance, somewhat.

It is amazing one can be in NY and then, in SF, and I am realizing now that with getting to the airport, and waiting and arriving home, it has been a twelve hour trip and we are home!!   Hooray!!
