A Modest Proposal!

If you've never read Jonathan Swift's A Modest Proposal you should and even if you have, you should re-read it, as it is one of the greatest pieces of irony ever written. Though written in 1729, it seems applicable today as one watches the squeezing of the poor, the creation of an "other", and the consideration of people as commodity. It is a very modest proposal and quite practical upon reflection. Enjoy his wit.

Living -

What is to give light must endure burning.
