oregon, willamette, 1 proxy falls

I don't shop at Restoration Hardware so was shocked to receive what appeared to be a 20 pound catalog in the mail the other day.  It went from mailbox to recycling without opening, but Jon Carroll decided to take a peek, and in his column is an exploration of what I missed.

How sad I am not to have seen a full-page photo of the co-CEO with a "fashionable three day stubble".  The catalog is, according to Jon, in three parts for a total of 986 pages.  It is printed on glossy paper so will probably be rejected at the recycling center.

What could the heads of Restoration Hardware be thinking?   I agree with Jon Carroll.  Any money that might be spent there would be better spent supporting our schools.
