Zach on a hay pyramid in Inverness

Reflection -

My father died 47 years ago today.  He was 47.  I always pause on this day and reflect.  There are clouds, birds, berries.  All is well with me, even as tears form and nest in heart, chest, throat, and eyes.

Gentle is the grief these days, soft.

This moment overflows with enough.

I am with two quotes today.

“We say, to shine one corner of the world–that is enough. Not the whole world. Just make it clear where you are.”

- Suzuki Roshi

"No need to hurry, no need to sparkle, no need to be anybody but oneself."

 - Virginia Woolf

May we pause and shine our corner of the world, our corner, enough.
