The Giants

There has been one topic of conversation in the Bay area the last week or so, and a little more than that for some, and that is the Giants.  As soon as Toastmasters ended last night, on came the game, and a celebration of a victory.  Tonight I kept checking in, but without watching as I didn't want to jinx it, and as I talked to a friend on the phone, I knew we'd won, because the fireworks were going full blast.  Pop!  Pop!  Pop!   Then, I watched the celebration and highlights.

The town is going crazy.  Is it silly?  I don't know.  It seems to matter and it certainly draws people together because everyone is talking about it, and Halloween seems to have started early because so many people are in orange and black.   I'm not sure why I'm even posting this, but perhaps it is to share that where I live there is excitement in the air.
