I'm back, somewhat -

How does one describe Tassajara?  One enters on a dirt road 14 miles long that takes an hour to traverse.  One needs a car able to climb and go down steep slopes, and go over large rocks.  The high point is 5000 feet with views to the ocean.  The low point is 1600 feet, a valley nestled in the Los Padres Mountains.

I am still deeply touched, can barely speak.

Therefore, I share that on this date in 1969, Apollo 11 landed on the moon.  Neil Armstrong was the first man to step on the moon.  The astronauts left behind a plaque that says: Here men from the planet Earth first set foot upon the moon July 1969 AD. We came in peace for all mankind."

How can we squabble?  How can we forget?
