There is a sparkle within as I look at the circles of evergreen wreaths radiant with pine cones and red bows. Even though the day is gray, there is a brightness to the light, a radiance. I walked up to a pond with two friends yesterday. The pond was dry but birds were playing in the willows, and the promise of tadpoles and frogs was there in the moistness held underneath.
Lately my heart has broken open again and again, and I feel the promise of soft new growth coming forth, as tenderly the tissues in my heart rise with new meeting of what's in me, you, and this world we share.
May your day radiate with delight, and night shimmer with the tingling of bells in your heart and the curves of your smile.
