Awareness -

Charlotte Selver led Sensory Awareness.

She said, "We each have our own history and are different. So, we have to have respect for our own way, as it wants to happen in us now, rather than try to imitate other people's way. It needs a little more courage, you know, a little more willingness to become more originally ourselves, rather than to be a duplication of other's thoughts and expectations."

I encourage you to consider these words today, and perhaps do something a little diffently than you usually might. Thrust your consciousness into what you are doing. Lift with a little more awareness of heart, arms, knees. "Are you all there for it?" All there in your own personal soul. I hope so. I will notice and experiment in the same ways, to further stroke what stokes inside and outside, you through me, and me through you. One fire of many logs. Our blaze is huge. Feel! See!

Yesterday a man worked with me who is legally blind. He has a seeing eye dog, and he only sees forms, happy, sad, angry. He was part of my treatment yesterday, a lesson in touch, and a lesson in seeing. Marin Cancer Care is clear in their healing treatment. They use machines and they use touch. They want us aware, and actively stimulated in our own healing, our own love, our care.

May your day be blessed, as left and right brain join hands and sing, "Ring around the rosy. Pockets full of posies. Happy, happy, is the dance, as we prance around."

You might notice I changed the words a bit. When I googled the song, I found it was created during the plague, the rosy is the break out, and the ashes are the cremated dead. It was spread by sneezing. I think we need a new song.

Here is the old version. I have given you my new. I suggest you create some new songs too.

Ring around the rosy
AKA as Ring a ring o' rosies

Ring around the rosy
A pocketful of posies
"Ashes, Ashes"
We all fall down!
Ring-a-Ring o'Rosies
A Pocket full of Posies
"A-tishoo! A-tishoo!"
We all fall Down!
