It's up to US!!

I walked down to the grocery for something we forgot, and saw my neighbor.   I told him about the movie An Inconvenient Truth.  He said global warming isn't our fault.  It's the fault of Africa, China, and India.  The point of the movie is that it is our fault, and that we can do something about it, each one of us.  I reminded him to put up his flag.  He had forgotten.  He said he bought a new one, but this, one, too, looks tattered and faded.  I think it is okay to admit we need to open up to change.  I think it is exciting to do so.  Isn't that what independence is?   Opening to new ways to be?   Happy Independence Day to you from me!!
