Mary Rose has a section of her garden for devas.  She says that "Hindu mythology asks us to leave a wild space for the garden spirits."    There, she begins to understand.

"Life becomes sacred when we soften to it.  It is not, in the technical sense, miraculous.  It just is.  To be healed of our separation, there is nothing we can assert.  There is no syllabus but to surrender and permit.

Hmmmm!    Lovely words to tuck under my pillow and inhale in the night.   My yard has many places for devas.  They dance and ribbon the light.
