Good Morning!!

"There is an Indian Belief that everyone is in a house of four rooms: A physical, a mental, an emotional and a spiritual. Most of us tend to live in one room most of the time, but unless we go into every room everyday, even if only to keep it aired, we are not complete."

-- Rumer Godden

Today, I set intention to enter and use all the rooms of my home.   The kittens certainly do that.   They become more and more cuddly each day.   The Humane Society called again yesterday to check on them.  I am thrilled about that, and I think of the number of children in foster care, and the number of children who do not get that kind of attention, and I find it sad.  Our social workers and school counselors are overworked.  Perhaps the Humane Society works because of a great number of volunteers,  and the knowing that finding a home for these animals is a solvable problem, while children who need proper parenting is a bigger problem than that.   Perhaps, it seems insurmountable to ensure all children a  proper life with four rooms, physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual,  fully filled and aired.

Today, prayers for all children, and an honoring of the renewal they bring with their huge eyes and soft limbs.
