A falcon in our yard -

Last night, we were sitting outside when we heard a sound in the trees.   Then, we saw a streak as a Peregrine Falcon fought off three different crows.  It was quite something to see, and the falcon emerged victorious, and proudly perched on a branch of the pine, lit grandly by the setting sun.   What a treat!
