My heart feels heavy -

My brother just informed me that a good friend of theirs has just been diagnosed with breast cancer.   She has a husband and two daughters, and her journey will be similar to mine.  I keep trying to say I am doing okay, and yet, tears fill my eyes when I hear the news.   Why are so many of us chosen for this right now?   Yesterday, we talked about how toxins are the cause and it makes sense to me.   How can cleansing our environment not be the highest priority?  That, and peace?

When I received the news, I was writing of the joy I received in the journey of this last year, and yet, my body knows,  and so I am very sad for this woman and her family and what this year now brings to them.   And yet I know the blessings, and as much as we thought last Thanksgiving was the best ever, this one will be even better, because we have learned even more about the power of love and connection.  I needed to share, and I ask for love and prayers for Kim in Connecticut.   May her journey be as softly given and undertaken as is possible, and may her children and husband also be given comfort and come to understand.
