The fog is in, that deep, yet airy fog of winter. Not something one wants to drive in, though I will venture out soon, but the most wonderful blanket in which to feel enclosed and probe. I am enchanted with this day.
from Who Will Feed the Mice? by Ajahn Amaro:
The wonderful Thai forest master Luang Por Duhn teaches us that the citta, the heart, is the Buddha. "Don't look for the Buddha anywhere else," he says, "the aware quality of the heart is the Buddha." This is an extraordinarily forthright, clear, completely nondualistic teaching."
In the fog today, there is no earth and sky. All is one.
