I read these words this morning, and think how true this seems. Iraq is not a prize to be won or lost. This is an autonomous nation. I see how important it is to re-frame.
Senator Chuck Hagel of Nebraska writes: "there will be no victory or defeat for the United States in Iraq. These terms do not reflect the reality of what is going to happen there. The future of Iraq was always going to be determined by the Iraqis - not the Americans. Iraq is not a prize to be won or lost."
I see, too, with this book how important it is that we find the right frame for the work and words. That is where I work.
I also want to comment on this influx of women with breast cancer. I am struggling to understand. I see how when I was in my own world of it, I just was, but now, I feel great pain with each new case of which I hear and am in contact. It is perhaps a way for me to further heal, and also, try and understand what I can now do to help.
A beautiful Wednesday to All! May it flow easily for each of us, and with minimal pain.
