Germany -

Petra sends me a photo today of the German market celebration of Christmas. Elaine is in Germany with her family, and she visited Hildegard's church. One quarter of my ancestry is German, and perhaps, even a little more. I am quite a mix, and I feel the beauty of that German part, the English, Norwegian, and even a little Scottish celebrating the ancestral years of place and time. It is a day to give thanks for and to the past, and to turn now toward the increasing light.

It is gray here and looks like rain, and I am hoping to walk on the nature path I see nearby. Jeff and Jan's yard is filled with birds.
