Code Pink -
So, it seems people are now not allowed to walk across the Golden Gate bridge in single file dressed in pink to honor those who have died in the war. How sad is that?
This is from the Chronicle today.
"Officers from the California Highway Patrol, the Golden Gate Bridge District and the San Francisco Police Department barred their way and also refused to let tourists onto the span."
Yesterday was a beautiful day, and traffic was blocked, because these women were not allowed their peace vigil. More and more, one wonders where freedom has gone in this country. Ten Code Pink people were arrested. I certainly feel safer now. Not!
