I just saw and felt the movie Amazing Grace, the movie about William Wilberforce who motivated Great Britian to halt the slave trade. It is a wonderful movie, inspirational and beautifully done and performed.
Just beautiful!!
This Saturday is an important day that he would have been part of if he were alive today. If you are not yet aware of the possibiliities check out:

Many months ago I signed up for a poetry workshop at Tor House, the home of Robinson Jeffers when he lived. I will journey this weekend to Monterey and then Carmel to participate in that so I won't be attending any of these other events, but offer them as possibility if they speak to you.
The movie Amazing Grace is well-worth seeing and your Saturday might be spent in making and meeting new friends. Perhaps that is the place we all reach for and seek.
Peace and honoring of all who live, interact, connect and breathe.
