Creative waiting -

Thomas Merton -

The imagination should be allowed a certain amount of time to browse around.

T.S. Eliot -

I said to my soul, be still and wait ....
So the darkness shall be the light,
    and the stillness the dancing.

Today I saw a grebe, a cormorant, and three mallard ducks.  The tide was out, and there was very little water in the slip of the bay near where I live.  All waits at times for the tide to return.
