Appreciation!

I was just at two grocery stores to gather all the food for the weekend, Father's Day weekend, a special one, though I read that most fathers have less than $10.00 spent on their Father's Day gifts, and mothers rake in the loot.  On the other hand, the little one lived in the mother for nine months.  It probably is fair.

Anyway, today, I really appreciated the amazing array of food that is there for me to browse, choose, and purchase.  It was an exhilarating experience, and now I have all these wonderful foods to put away.  What a lovely time of year - fresh basil and dill,  blackberries, strawberries, and raspberries.  I am in heaven today.
